YOUR FIRST WORKOUT IN 4 STEPS
FNG = Friendly New Guy. Every man in F3 was one once. Here's exactly what to do.
2
Wear workout gear. Bring water and gloves. Arrive a few minutes early and tell someone it's your first time.
3
Modify anything you can't do. Go your pace. You won't be judged; you'll be welcomed.
4
After your workout, fill out the FNG form. You'll get your F3 name and Slack access.
Showing up is the hard part. Everything else follows. Fill out the FNG form and we'll get you connected.
THE LEXICON
F3 has its own language. Don't let it throw you, here's what it all means.
FNG
Friendly New Guy. You on day one. You'll get your real F3 name after your first post.
PAX
All participants at the workout. Once you've shown up, you're PAX.
Q
The workout leader for the day. Any PAX can Q. You'll lead one eventually.
AO
Area of Operation — the specific location of a workout. Each AO has a name.
Post
To show up to a workout. "Did you post?" = "Were you there?"
Beatdown
The workout itself. Hard by design. You'll want to come back.
COT
Circle of Trust. The closing circle. Announcements, reflection, community.
Coffeeteria
Post-workout coffee. Optional. Highly recommended. The fellowship continues here.
EH
Encouragement. How most men find F3 — someone they trust inviting them to try it.
The alarm will be early. The ground will be cold.
The men next to you will be glad you came.
